Hi all.

Been a long time coming, and a couple of years collecting parts, but I'm finally ready to start on my first Cyclekart. I have enough parts to make 2, but I'm hoping to make 4 so we call enjoy them. I may start a YouTube channel for this build, I'll see how I go. Just pics for now.

I'm in Sth East Victoria. Anyone local wanting to get together and give each other a chop out here and there, and talk shop, drop me a line.

Started mocking up the suspension today. Yes, I know its upside down but I am just testing everything for sizing, width etc.

I have these solid 50mmdia x 30mm discs for the front, they will get recessed into the end of the chassis for a nice round look, and will also support the end of the spring. I haven't cut the shape in yet as I don't want...

I made up these 50x10 SHS pieces for the end of the springs to slide in.

  • I'm using a 75 x 25 section for the chassis. I have tapered the front. I haven't welded it yet as I may change my mind on the angle. Doing it all in stainless so for.

Cut up the frame and laid it out on the fabrication table. I'm happy with the dimensions.
