Hi night monkey, I haven’t built a Kart yet because I felt that if no one else was interested in the area it would not be worth while. If however we can get a group together I will build a kart and get involved. Let me know what happens.

If anyone else in the Sydney area is reading this and is interested, let’s get something going here, I think it would be a lot of fun.

These hubs accept the 35x17mm bearings that gokarts use on the front wheels, so can use nice strong 17mm stub axles. They currently have 35x15mm. This rim seems much friendlier for cyclekart application as opposed to the ct90/110 rims.   More ...

    • Not sure of any clubs, but might be worth reaching out to other local members and see if they hold any get-togethers.

Hi Everybody, I am new here and I am interested to know if there are any cyclekart clubs in Australia. I am from the Sydney area so it would be nice if there is a club near me.

    • Hi Burmy.

I'm not aware of any clubs. Cycle-karting is very much in its infancy here in Australia and there's only a few of us currently buildingHi Burmy.

I'm not aware of any clubs. Cycle-karting is very much in its infancy here in Australia and there's only a few of us currently building Cyclekarts. I put together this site and the Facebook page to try and bring people together and get some more interest in building and ultimately holding events.

The best thing I can suggest is to make a post to the Facebook page and see if there are others in your area that might be interested in hooking up. There's nothing from stopping you forming your own club. The way I see it anything that brings people together is a good thing.

This site and the Facebook page are here to help people share resources and to also put people in touch with each other. Ultimately once there's enough people with operational Cyclekarts we can organise some meetings.

If you need any info, or have any questions, please feel free to shout out and I will help if I can.
